Fine art painting

We recently returned from Indiana Dunes State Park.  The purpose was to paint the subjects of sand, grasses, beach fences and of course colorful umbrellas on a beach.  I really needed more than two days because it was so much fun to explore the area and chat with friends who mostly live close to me but we all drove 3 hours to be with each other. I got a few studies done of the area and acquired a lot of beautiful reference photos.  It felt like a vacation.  I really would not know what to do with myself if I just went on a trip that did not include all of the above. Keep your eyes out for lake and beach paintings that I hope to add to the website in the coming months.
